Parents of Danny Oates Want Traffic Changes

Huntington Beach City School District officials are set to vote today on whether to reject wrongful death claims filed by the parents of Danny Oates, a 14-year-old boy who was killed while riding his bicycle to Sowers Middle School.

Paul and Kristi Oates filed claims against the city and school district on Feb. 29. The claims with the city are under review by risk management in consultation with the city attorney's office, officials said.
