The ever-famous southern swell has started showing up again along our shores. Storms off Antarctica south of Pitcairn have been pushing wave-making energy our way. This is somewhat unseasonal as most of the winter/spring wave energy comes from storms in and around the Gulf of Alaska. And while more energy from there is in the forecast, another storm south of French Polynesia may make surfing just that much more fun next week.
